Jennifer and Richard’s Southmoreland Inn Wedding on the Kansas City Country Club Plaza | Kansas City Wedding Photographers

Jennifer and Richard are an absolutely beautiful couple inside and out and we had an amazing day photographing their beautiful wedding at the Southmoreland Inn Bed and Breakfast on the Kansas City Plaza!  Jennifer and Richard lived in Wichita and had a small destination wedding in Kansas City before moving overseas with their two playful cats. Richard is serving our country in the military and Jennifer is a fellow photographer so it was a complete honor to be chosen to photograph their wedding.  At first glance you may think of President Obama or Tiger Woods when you see Richard but he is a superstar himself, he is serving in Germany where they will be starting their married life together. Jennifer and Richard both share a gentle spirit with beautiful smiles that light up those around them and especially each other!  The Southmoreland Inn Bed and Breakfast was a perfect setting for their small intimate ceremony.  The historic building has a wooden deck off the back with a rustic fireplace as the alter that’s covered by large shade trees.  Jennifer was a stunning bride in her beautiful white dress and her glowing red hair!  It was so wonderful to watch as Richard’s eyes lit up when she approached him during the ceremony!  Afterwards, we took advantage of the beautiful surroundings and shot many photos of them on the balcony and inside the gorgeous sunroom that was adorned with an antique record player and white wicker chairs.  We then headed to the Capital Grille on the Country Club Plaza for the reception festivities full of delicious food and reliving precious memories with close friends and family!  Jennifer and Richard are a one of a kind couple and we are so honored to have captured their special day and shared in it with them! Congratulations Jennifer and Richard (Oprah:))!!
